Another week in the books

Haven't blogged over here in a bit, but I'm still working hard. Yesterday was plyo again and I really feel like I rocked it! I was able to get through the whole workout without having to pause it longer than the breaks it gives YAY!

And I'm down another few pounds! Woot! I'm hoping to lose an additional 5-6 lbs by Memorial Day weekend, but we will see. Just gonna take hard work and perseverance, right?

Back Again

Well, the 2 weeks we spent in Seattle ended up being a wash. I had every intention of keeping up with p90, but I made excuses and my parent's house is chaotic and busy. Needless to say, I didn't follow through.

And my diet wasn't exactly spot on either. I had WAY more than the one bad meal a week that I normally alot myself.

But, thankfully I didn't actually gain a single pound! Which was pretty surprising to be honest. In fact I was down a pound on Tuesday when I weighed in.

So back on the workout/ diet train :)

Woot!

Down another 3lbs this week. I know today is not the official weigh in, but I will be on the road tomorrow, bright and early and wanted to get it in before I left :)

I'm happy with how this week went! 3 lbs puts me over the "I've lost 10 lbs" mark and I'm only about a pound and a half away from pre preggo!!!!!!!!!!!

I will finish week 3 of p90 today (kenpo... which is fun!) and next week starts a "recovery week" which really just means you do a lot of core work and cardio. Which I don't mind. I will be at my parents and again, I'm hoping to coerce a sibling or 2 to join me ;-) They could use the exercise as much as I can (well, my little bro stays in really good shape... and my sister is in decent shape, but still)

I know it will be a little more difficult to make the best eating choices so it will be good to do more cardio.

Another day, another workout

Another day of yoga down... yippee! I was literally dripping sweat onto my mat and carpet today. It was a killer!! And because this is week 3, I don't even get a full week to recover from yoga. I have to do it all again on Monday... maybe I can coerce my sister or one of my brothers into joining me so I don't feel so bad when I fall over? Hmm...

I'm contemplating weighing myself early (just for shits and grins), but part of me likes the surprise on Sundays.

Only 2 more days of workouts to get until I get a break! Whew!

Another day down

I'm feeling really great! Workouts are still going strong and I'm eating healthy... even though I just want to devour a whole pizza. By. my. self. Tonight was tough. All I wanted to do was order take out. But I held my ground and settled on a salad and half an english muffin with a tiny bit of cheese toasted on it. It satisfied (most of) my craving so I should be good to go for a couple days... right? I still haven't started doing cardio in the evenings, which I'm kind of kicking myself for... why is it so hard for me to get off my ass at 7:30 and jump on the elliptical for a half hour... I mean how hard is it to sweat for a few minutes? Seriously! Need to get my butt. in. gear. tomorrow is another day of yoga... oh joy.
